Spa/Club Receptionist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist in our Club & Spa building. Having recently invested in our luxury spa facilities, we are looking forward to offering our guests some long overdue indulgence and welcoming our club members back. This is a busy and rewarding role and Reception will be the first point of contact for all spa guests, hotel residents and club members. You will be committed to enhancing the guest experience and will be confident and passionate about promoting facilities and services throughout the resort.

  • To deal with all guests & visitors to the Club & Spa in a welcoming & professional manner
  • To ensure that phones are answered promptly & in a professional & friendly manner
  • To deal with all calls efficiently
  • To maintain a full up to date knowledge of the Resort services & products including hotel events & facilities
  • To be competent in the operation of the Club & Spa computerised booking system
  • To make spa reservations and enter bookings on the computer system
  • To take & process card payments
  • To maintain Spa laundry throughout the day
  • To follow procedures for cashing up & banking
  • To maintain the client database
  • To ensure Reception areas are clean & tidy at all times
  • To maximise selling opportunities by adding customer value at every opportunity
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance & hygiene including wearing & maintaining a clean uniform at all times.
  • Follow all company policies & procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department-specific procedures.
  • Be aware of & follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times

  • Calm under pressure during busy periods & when dealing with any guest issues

  • Can use own initiative and problem solve
