A Girly Getaway: How to Spend a Girly 24 Hours at Lion Quays Resort

It's been a while since you and your girlfriends have had a catch-up. This weekend away is one you’ve been really looking forward (and one you really deserve too).

You’ve arrived at your room after taking in the surroundings of our contemporary Shropshire hotel situated on the beautiful Oswestry waterways.

Dump your bags, touch up your lippy and head back down to reception to meet the girls.

It’s time for a little (ok, maybe a lot) of retail therapy. You’re off to Cheshire Oaks, the designer outlet just 30 minutes up the road. Michael Kors, Ted Baker and Kurt Geiger are just some of the stores at Cheshire Oaks. Grab some tea and cake at Patisserie Valerie or go oriental with a yummy lunch at Wagamama’s. There’s plenty of places to treat yourself while enjoying a well-needed catch up with your friends. There’s even a Cadbury’s store, so you can take the kids home a little something at the end of your weekend.

It’s been a relaxing morning and you’ve started how you mean to go on. Today you’re making the most of the Lion Quays Spa. A relaxing sanctuary, away from it all.

Ease off your muscles with a quick dip in our 25-metre swimming pool, breath freely in our indulgent steam room and lounge about in the sauna. Enjoy our luxury thermal suite, a process that requires moving between different temperatures in order to stimulate circulation. A great way to eliminate toxins, you’re bound to leave feeling rejuvenated. Catch up on any gossip while relaxing in the jacuzzi before heading for lunch at our Nico’s restaurant.
