On the morning of July 7, 2011, staff and guests alike at the Wynnstay Hotel, Wrexham were unexpectedly given the message that the hotel was closing with immediate effect.

With staff losing their jobs, and disgruntled guests and future clients of the hotel set to loose thousands in bookings for rooms, conferences and weddings, the news has come as a huge blow for many.
