THE WATERSIDE

Our traditional bar and restaurant interior were built using ancient reclaimed timber beams. The ambiance is relaxed and cosy, and appeals to couples, friends and family groups alike. Here we serve an eclectic mix of dishes, to tempt the peckish and satisfy the most ravenous diner. Our highly trained chefs prepare the food to order, using fresh and local ingredients.

Don’t hurry over your meal – take time to walk along the canal, enjoy a drink, or sit outside on the banks of the Llangollen waterway. Food is served from 12.00noon to 9.30pm.  A new Lunch Menu is now available from 12noon till 5pm.

With fast access to Chester, Wales, Shrewsbury and surrounding areas, we are conveniently well-connected to all major routes. Your first surprise is our scenic location on the banks of the Llangollen Waterway. The second is that we’re reassuringly affordable.
