If you love massage and enjoy firm pressure, but you’re not quite brave enough to endure a sports massage, you will LOVE this treatment. Madagascar Massage at Lion Quays Spa is just amazing … having just had this treatment, I now need to find the words to try and tell the world just how fantastic it is. Here goes…

WOW … I love massage and have had a number of ‘Back, Neck and Shoulder’ massages at various Spas. I’ve also had a number of ‘Sports Massage’ which, although the benefits definitely exceed the pain at the time, sometimes something in-between would be great! Here it is, I’ve found it.
I settled down in to the calming surroundings of a ‘secret world away from the fast lane’ otherwise known as a ‘treatment room’. I was given the choice of massage oils to be used, I opted for the ‘Slim Effect’ … who wouldn’t I hear you say?! Other choices included relaxing, detoxing and energising.

From fingertips to toes, and every muscle in between, my therapist Sadie, used 52 different techniques to ensure every muscle featured as part of this wonderful treatment. The pressure was just right, firm enough to have a positive impact on my muscles yet not too firm so I was able to drift away into pure relaxation!

I go to the gym and am training for my next running event, which means my muscles are often abused … this massage was just the treat my body needed. Forget your average ‘back, neck and shoulder’ massage and make way for the ‘Madagascar Massage’. The other great thing is it will only cost you an extra £5 more than a regular massage and your whole body is treated to this very unique massage experience.
Calling all gym junkies to spa lovers and those that are just a little curious to find out more about the benefits of massage … this treatment is a MUST! I will most certainly be having this treatment again, I owe it to my muscles
