As an Independent Booking Agent who places business worldwide with large corporate clients who use us for business & leisure. It was such a surprise to find a Jewel in between Wrexham & Shrewsbury. The Lion Quays Hotel has been designed for both corporate & leisure situated in the banks of the Llangollen Canal just off the Main A483 ideal location for guests travelling from the South to Wrexham/Chester.
Their Conference facilities are one of the best I have seen in the 20 years in this business, lovely private gardens on the side of the property. They have civil license for weddings and a unique opportunity to be married outside in their Gazeebo.
Within the gardens they even have the children in mind as they have a large chess set to keep them occupied.
With business at the forefront they understand that in some certain areas you cannot pick up a mobile signal, with this in mind they have installed wireless connection so that all guests are able to contact their base.
I have to say would thoroughly recommend to anyone.
