"Spa - The best one yet - Reviewed 25 July 2011 - I have to write about this amazing spa and staff. Having been for quite a few spa breaks this is certainly the best one I have been too by a long way . I had the most relaxing full pamper day a couple of weeks back, well worth the money. The facilities are fabulous and my therapist Sian was just fantastic! Very professional, left me in a haze of relaxation – Just what I needed. I enjoyed it so much I returned this weekend to stay at the hoel and use the spa facilities and found the experience just as good. Top marks from me!! I am saving up again to return as soon as possible"

“The New Chef and Menu - Reviewed 18 July 2011 - We enjoyed a nights stay at this lovely hotel recently after attending a function, and were especially impressed by the quality of the breakfast which although standard 'english breakfast' fayre was top notch, the sausages for instance were some of the best we had ever tasted and everything was hot and freash. We commented on the quality and were told that they had just appointed a new chef, head hunted from a top scottish establishment. We had since heard more good reports about the new chef and new menu in the restaurant so decided to try it out. It was supurb, 5 adults went, daughter, parents and grand parents and between us we had starters, mains and puddings and a bottle of wine ... we will definitely be back, looking forward to a Sunday lunch next. 5 stars."

"Weekend Easter Break - What a beautiful place to spend a few days and nights. Fantastic layout of hotel, bar, restaurants and spa facilities. I loved it and will absolutely love to stay again. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the carpet - its a bit stained - but the room was impeccable and the staff attentive, helpful and polite. We loved it that much that we stayed an extra night!"

"I would just like to thank you and all the staff for a wonderful evening. Matthew was very helpful giving us the gas for the balloons and adding the tea lights on the tables just finishing them off.  The guests loved the venue with your lovely gardens which were ideal for all the photos. The evening was perfect and everything went really well.  They are all crying out WHENS THE NEXT ONE!!!"
