Position currently available within the Lion Quays Waterside Resort:

Facilities Manager

Primary Purpose of Role

To repair and manage the infrastructure that supports the Shropshire Leisure Group Limited business activities. To ensure all areas of the sites and all activities carried out on them are safe, in good repair and in compliance with all current laws and regulations. To maintain all aspects of the sites and their equipments to an optimum condition.

Key Functions include:

Source material and repair or manage the repair of all aspects of properties (internal/external), fixtures & fittings, equipment, plant & machinery in line with requests from management.
Ensure all assets, mechanical & electrical systems are properly maintained and operating efficiently through effective planned preventative maintenance.
Ensure all events (failures & faults) that have been raised for any asset, mechanical or electrical system are reacted to timely and the appropriate actions taken to return the asset, mechanical or electrical system to full operational service.
Carry out all work activities in accordance with all relevant and current Health and Safety legislation.
Provide engineering expertise and advice in assisting in reducing the utilities usage at the sites.
Identify ”single point failure” equipments and develop effective contingency plans.

The role of the FM is a multi-skilled, hands-on practical ability to undertake a range of duties/repairs themselves, likely to be a qualified electrician with all round skills in the building sector. Self starter, Possessing strong organisational skills.

Salary: On Application and dependent on experience.
