Heart and Lungs
Moves and stances from self defence disciplines like karate, boxing and taekwondo, this workout will raise fitness levels throughout the whole body.
A highly effective, motivating, cardiovascular workout performed on the industry’s highest spec indoor cycles. No co-ordination needed, but don’t forget your sweat towel.
A 30 or 45 minute cycling workout that delivers maximum results with minimum impact on the knees. Our instructor will take you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding, but you control the resistance and speed, to build up your fitness level over time.

Yogalates is a comprehensive exercise system which successfully fuses the practices of Yoga and Pilates. Yogalates sessions will include exercises and poses (asana) to cultivate strength, stamina, stability and flexibility with particular attention paid to building tone in the deeper postural “core” muscles. While also encouraging a connection with self to soothe the nervous system, release stress, aid relaxation and instil inner calm and overall wellbeing.
Fitness class for children age 5-15.Junior members can spend an hour working out with our fully qualified, CRB checked junior instructor. Includes aerobic, cardio, flexibility, balancing skills and team orientated activities.
Yoga & Relaxation

Lion Quays Country Club boasts 3 all-weather tennis courts, available for the exclusive use of our members and guests. If you’ re ready to play tennis we have a game for you!
Tennis at the Counry Club comes alive in the summer months and we like our loyal and core tennis members to be involved with the preparation, planning and promotion of all our tennis events.
Members will have complimentary use of the tennis courts at all times; however any bookings will take precedence over this. If not booked, members risk not being able to use the courts.
An equipment hire fee is charged if you don’t bring your own, and you can buy tennis balls too, if required.
We offer a variety of group sessions during the summer, junior coaching, team lessons, and social evenings, we are pleased to announce our latest partnership with "Inspire2coach" as they will be launching a New Tennis programme on Saturdays starting 12th September.

Lion Quays Hotel & Spa features a well maintained artificial Crown Bowling Green set in the picturesque setting of our Hotel & Spa grounds. The club's bowling green and club facilities are ideal for corporate and social bowling matches throughout the summer months.
You can enjoy a drink and a chat in Nico's after the game - and we’re happy to cater for corporate and social events.
The Green is always available for informal practice or games when no matches or formal practice sessions are scheduled. Members will have complimentary use of the bowling green for singles matches; however any bookings will take precedence over this. If they don’t book, members risk not being able to use the Green.

The benefits of Sports Massage Therapy are exceptional. Whether you are coming back from recent injury or a long term postural/physical problem or simply suffering with the tension and stresses of everyday life, sports massage therapy can help.
It is designed to prepare you for your best performance, reduce fatigue, and relieve muscle swelling and tension. During physical activity—especially strenuous activity—muscle tension builds up in the body’s soft tissues. Due to overextension or overuse, minor injuries and lesions occur in these tissues that can cause a great deal of pain and/ or result in poor performance. Sports massage helps alleviate pain and prevent such injuries that greatly affect flexibility, mobility, response time, and overall performance in athletic events.
